The Journal JEECAR organized the virtual Conference on Transformation and Sustainable Development of Eurasian Emerging Economies for the 21st Century in cooperation with the Webster University GHW School of Business and Technology in St. Louis, MO, USA. The conference will provide an exclusive forum to discuss and explore contemporary thinking of leading academic and business practices related to the economic transformation of economic policies and practices in countries of the Eastern European and Central Asian region. We are looking toward both theoretically grounded and practice-oriented presentations in the field of Economics, Banking & Finance, Management, Marketing, HRM and OD, and Foreign Affairs.

All non-previously published abstracts, manuscripts, and proposals must be submitted by November 15, 2020, (deadline extended) to avoid a late submission fee.

Topics to be Discussed:

Eurasian economic integration

  • Central and Eastern European countries’ GDP after entering in European Union
  • Pros and Cons of European economic integration

The impact of the global financial crisis

  • The impact of the global financial crisis on Eastern Europe and Central Asia
  • Role of national governments in the financial crisis

Conducting business in emerging markets

  • Challenges and risks of doing business in emerging markets
  • Entry and negotiation strategies in conducting business in emerging markets

Each proposal should consist of - article in progress, or 2-3 pages of a research proposal, and /or 8-10 PPT slides. It will be an opportunity for 15 min. presentation plus 5 min. Q&As. The presentation will be administered via provided ZOOM links. (closed)
